How to succeed in MLM

I’m like most people who’ve been in this industry a while - I’ve had my years of struggle.

My first years were pretty miserable – lots of hard work with little or no result.

The most I ever made was a few hundred bucks a month, and most of the time I actually ended up LOSING money.

If you want the facts I’ve even quit three or four times because I’d get so discouraged.

And then I‘d come across a brand new opportunity or a new product and I’d think, “Man, this one’s really going to go big”.

Then I’d struggle and fail all over again.

I knew that there were people making tons of money in the MLM business, and I knew that network marketing was the average person’s best chance for financial freedom,

I’d see these superstars at company functions with their huge down-lines and their massive success and I'd wish that could be me.

But I could just never seem to get off the ground.

The truth is, that my lack of success was simply due to the way I was going about it.

It took me a long time to realize that, because, hey after all I was doing everything my up-line said to do.

All those things that were supposed to guarantee my success? I did them.

You probably know the drill here; I made a list of friends and family, another list of prominent people where I lived, and tried my best to show every single one of these people my business plan.

I held meetings in homes and hotel rooms – I advertised and I put up fliers.

I used the good old three foot rule (that’s where anybody who gets within three feet is a prospect, so shove a card in their face and tell them about your business plan)

When you try to promote your business this way, you end up getting so desperate for prospects that you’ll even find yourself showing your business plan to your 90 year old great aunts and uncles.

Makes you real unpopular at family gatherings.

I even tried buying "qualified" leads – I spent tons of money and hundreds of hours on the phone trying to convince people who couldn’t care less to join my business.

If you’ve done any of this yourself then you can probably guess what the outcome of all this was.

If you can’t guess, then here’s a statistic for you – the vast majority of network marketers make less than 10 bucks a week.

They struggle - and they lose money – and they FAIL, because just like I did, they’re using methods that simply WILL NOT WORK for most people.

Sound familiar?

Now I’m not going to tell you that these methods won’t work because actually they do.

IF - you’re a superstar marketer.

I was honestly at the point of deciding I couldn’t afford to be in business for myself.
